Basketball Game Preview: GREEN Upstate Owls vs. Dixie Hornets

The GREEN Upstate Owls are taking a road trip to challenge the Dixie Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. GREEN Upstate is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

GREEN Upstate's tournament run continued when they took on Walhalla last Monday. GREEN Upstate received a blow as they fell 64-49 to Walhalla.

Meanwhile, Dixie didn't have too much trouble with Carolina Academy on Monday as they won 40-22. The 40-point effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for GREEN Upstate, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
