Softball Recap: Lawrence Academy Comes Up Short

The Lawrence Academy Warriors lost 14-2 to the East Wilkes Cardinals on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrence Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Halstead, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Lawrence Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for East Wilkes, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coming up, Lawrence Academy will square off against Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Wilkes, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Camden County on the 18th.
