Soccer Recap: Palisades Takes a Loss

Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Butler Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Palisades can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Butler are ranked 130th).

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Butler, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season.

Palisades will challenge Ardrey Kell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palisades' defense better be ready for this one: Ardrey Kell have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Butler, they will face off against East Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
