Soccer Game Preview: West Fork vs. Crosby

The West Fork Gators will head out on the road to square off against the Crosby Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

West Fork took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Pasadena onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That four goal margin sets a new team best for the Gators this season.

Meanwhile, Crosby entered their tilt with Pasadena on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with an 8-0 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by four goals or more this season.

Crosby's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for West Fork, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10-2 record this season.
