Basketball Recap: Hoquiam Gets the Win

Hoquiam hadn't done well against Aberdeen recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Hoquiam Grizzlies managed a 47-42 victory over the Aberdeen Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-57 back in December of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Hoquiam and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Aberdeen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Hoquiam won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Elma at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aberdeen, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Aberdeen Bobcats face off against the WF West Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. WF West will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Aberdeen surely won't give up without a fight.
