Game recap: Buena Vista High School Football Team wins against Resurrection Christian

LOVELAND, Colo. - After three lead changes, Buena Vista (Colo.) took the lead for good when Keegan Wentz ran for a touchdown with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat Resurrection Christian (Loveland, Colo.) 42-35 on Saturday.

Both teams scored six points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at seven at the start of the fourth.

The Cougars came in allowing just 15.6 points per game this season. Resurrection Christian had a hard time against Buena Vista's offense, who entered the game scoring 42.3 points per game.

The defeat comes as a step back for Resurrection Christian, which notched a 36-20 victory over Platte Canyon in its previous outing.
