Basketball Recap: Idea Pflugerville Drops Highest Score of Season Against IDEA Round Rock Tech

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Idea Pflugerville). They claimed a resounding 53-10 victory over the IDEA Round Rock Tech Thunderbirds. The Wizards have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

Idea Pflugerville found their leader in sophomore Ja'Lynn Saucedo, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Freeman, who put up ten points.

Idea Pflugerville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.7 points. As for IDEA Round Rock Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Idea Pflugerville will take on Founders Classical Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Idea Pflugerville's defense has only allowed 28.3 points per game this season, so Founders Classical Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for IDEA Round Rock Tech, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on KIPP Austin Collegiate at 5:30 p.m. on February 11th.
