Softball Game Preview: Redbank Valley Bulldogs vs. Karns City Gremlins

Redbank Valley hasn't had much luck against Karns City recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Gremlins at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Redbank Valley lost 13-1 to St. Marys on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Karns City fell victim to Cranberry Area and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Berries, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Gremlins haven't been shut out since back in March.

Redbank Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Karns City, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-6.

Redbank Valley couldn't quite get it done against Karns City when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 4-1. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
