Baseball Recap: New Prague Comes Up Short

New Prague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chaska Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trojans have suffered since April 15th.

New Prague's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Chaska, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chaska beat New Prague by a score of 4-2 later that day.
