Sonora's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Harper Longhorns 3-2. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Sonora who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 19-25, 25-16, 25-27, 15-13.

Jazlyn Garcia paced Sonora's offense, picking up 19 kills. Garcia got some help from Madison Galindo and her 22 assists. Finally, Brook Kaiser kept Sonora's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Sonora's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Harper, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sonora will head out to square off against Junction at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harper, they will venture away from home to challenge Johnson City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
