Softball Recap: Westminster Christian Wildcats vs. Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights

While Westminster Christian put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Incarnate Word Academy. The Westminster Christian Wildcats blew past the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Allison Branstetter was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Jaymison Lenk, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Westminster Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least ten hits in seven consecutive contests.
