Recap: Lee Central Stallions vs. Marion Swamp Foxes
The Lee Central Stallions lost against the Marion Swamp Foxes back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lee Central took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marion. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lee Central has scored all season.
Lee Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rjay Spann, who scored six points along with two steals. Spann has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiauj Allen, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Lee Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Marion, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.
Lee Central will head out on the road to challenge Andrews at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mullins at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
