Softball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes a Loss

Oxbridge Academy lost against Palm Beach Central back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The ThunderWolves fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 3-2. The ThunderWolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ella Bianco was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Oxbridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Palm Beach Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxbridge Academy will face off against West Boca Raton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.83 runs per game on average), something the ThunderWolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Palm Beach Central, they will challenge Dwyer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
