Amherst is 8-2 against Ansley/Litchfield since August of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Broncos will be taking part in a tournament against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Amherst is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Monday, Amherst was able to grind out a solid win over Elm Creek, taking the game 2-0.

Amherst easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Ansley/Litchfield hadn't done well against Pleasanton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1.

Amherst's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Ansley/Litchfield, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Amherst beat Ansley/Litchfield 2-0 in their previous matchup back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
