Softball Recap: Ohatchee Comes Up Short

If Ohatchee was riding high fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Ranburne on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ohatchee Indians took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hokes Bluff Eagles on Saturday. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ohatchee fell to 2-1. As for Hokes Bluff, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Ohatchee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-4 win against Gadsden City on the 18th. As for Hokes Bluff, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Cherokee County on the 18th.
