Softball Recap: Ouachita Christian Takes a Loss

Ouachita Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Iowa Yellowjackets. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Ouachita Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Iowa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Ouachita Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-9 win against Montgomery on the 8th. As for Iowa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Mamou on the 8th.
