Volleyball Recap: Jarrell Takes a Loss

Jarrell lost against Burnet back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jarrell started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-11.

Jarrell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Burnet, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Jarrell and Burnet will both be playing Gateway College Preparatory the next time they take the court. The Cougars will host the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
