After having lost a blowout in their previous game against William Byrd, Brookville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Heritage Pioneers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bees as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Camden Brown was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Grayson Surratt, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

The victory got Brookville back to even at 6-6. As for Heritage, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Brookville will be playing at home against Rustburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage, they will venture away from home to face off against Jefferson Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight.
