The biggest upset of the week belonged to Palm Springs, who took down 302nd ranked Cathedral City, 13-0. Franklin Miller during the win.

The Indians moved up to 318 from 352 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Desert Valley. Palm Springs was able to move up by topping the Lions 13-0.

Trae Riek was the best wideout in the league this week as Palm Desert fell to La Quinta. Riek tallied 2 receptions for 35 yards. Marcus Sharpe helped Palm Desert's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 25 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Kyle Kabeary and Riek, the Aztecs have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Kabeary is tops in the league in passing with 1,338 yards, while Riek has rushed for 1,649 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is the Blackhawks' Vincent Guzman, with 300 yards on 14 catches.

La Quinta and Palm Desert played the closest game in the league this week, with La Quinta eventually emerging with a 34-30 victory.
