Softball Recap: Grace Christian Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Grace Christian Academy pushed their score to eight the last time they played Anderson County, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Grace Christian Academy Rams never let the Anderson County Mavericks get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The result came thanks to Brooke Million's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up 12 Ks. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, Izzie Tapp-Milligan was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another player making a difference was Hannah Hodges, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy will head out to face off against Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Anderson County, they will face off against Wartburg Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
