Softball Recap: Window Rock Comes Up Short

Window Rock lost to Joseph City back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Scouts lost 11-1 to the Wildcats. The Fighting Scouts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Window Rock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Ashley, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That hit marked the first that Ashley has got this season.

Window Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Joseph City, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Window Rock will welcome Many Farms at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Joseph City, they will face off against Sahuarita at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
