Volleyball Recap: Dripping Springs Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Dripping Springs faced off against Klein Oak on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The game marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Klein Oak found their leader in sophomore Ava Lawrence, who had seven digs and one assist. That assist was Lawrence's first of the season.

Dripping Springs has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Klein Oak, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Dripping Springs will head out on the road to square off against Reagan at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Rattlers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Klein Oak, they will take on Magnolia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
