Volleyball Recap: East Haven Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

East Haven had won two straight games and Libby Madonna did her part to make it three on Monday. The Yellowjackets came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hand Tigers with plenty of help from Madonna, who had 26 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 12.2 digs per game.

East Haven wouldn't go down easily and took Hand into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 24-26, 26-24, 15-12.

East Haven's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Hand, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. East Haven is set to challenge their familiar foe Branford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hand will face off against rival West Haven at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
