Sehome and Ferndale are an even 3-3 against one another  since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Mariners are taking a road trip to  face off against the Golden Eagles  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Sehome is coming into the  match on  a  six-game losing streak.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sehome's offense. They came up short against  Lynden Christian on Tuesday, falling  11-0. That's two games in a row now that the Mariners have lost by  exactly 11  runs.
Meanwhile, Ferndale came up short against Anacortes on Tuesday and fell  12-9.
 Ferndale got a  massive  performance out of  Kaelin Blakley, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double.  Hannah Swan was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Ferndale has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record  this season. As for Sehome, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
 Sehome might still be hurting after the  17-5 loss they got from Ferndale  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can the Mariners avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
