Preview: North Cross Raiders vs. Stuart Hall Dragons
The North Cross Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Stuart Hall Dragons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (North Cross is ranked 130th, while Stuart Hall is ranked 132nd).
North Cross fought the good fight in their overtime match against Roanoke Catholic on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Celtics by a score of 70-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Stuart Hall waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 63-44 victory over The Covenant.
North Cross' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Stuart Hall, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
