Basketball Recap: James River Midlothian Has No Trouble Against Huguenot

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monacan, James River Midlothian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Huguenot Falcons 42-21. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rapids as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

James River Midlothian's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Huguenot, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

James River Midlothian will challenge Cosby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cosby knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully James River Midlothian likes a good challenge. As for Huguenot, they will take on Meadowbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Huguenot is facing Meadowbrook at the right time seeing as Meadowbrook is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
