Volleyball Recap: Potomac Senior Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hylton on Monday, Potomac Senior came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Potomac Senior took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 26-28, 25-23, 15-12.

Potomac Senior's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Hylton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Potomac Senior wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Woodbridge on the 23rd. Hylton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
