Calexico had won two straight games and Edgar Mendoza did his part to make it three on Wednesday. The Bulldogs blew past Mission Vista 63-43 with plenty of help from Mendoza, who posted 25 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game.

Calexico's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Mission Vista, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Calexico will be taking part in a tournament against Shadow Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mission Vista, they will head out on the road to face off against Escondido Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
