Baseball Recap: Central Sets Scoring Season-High Against Episcopal

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They blew past the Episcopal Knights 23-7 on Friday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Central will venture away from home to square off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Episcopal, they will welcome Central Private at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
