There's no place like home for Oakleaf, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ridgeview Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Oakleaf walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Kabrynn Gooden and Gabrielle Humbles, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Jiyanna Rivera and her 29 assists. Humbles was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The victory got Oakleaf back to even at 12-12. As for Ridgeview, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 14-6 record.

Oakleaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Tocoi Creek on the 13th. As for Ridgeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against ED White on the 13th.
