Baseball Game Preview: West Jefferson Panthers vs. Teton Timberwolves

West Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Teton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Timberwolves at 1:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Jefferson is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 20th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They lost 9-2 to North Fremont.

West Jefferson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Perkins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that Perkins has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Teton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against South Fremont, falling 12-6.

Luke Nelson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

West Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Teton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

West Jefferson suffered a grim 24-8 defeat to Teton in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
