While losing is never fun, Breese Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Father McGivney Catholic are ranked 15th).

Breese Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Father McGivney Catholic, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
