After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Creek, College Station was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Brenham Cubs a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in January.

College Station now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Brenham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
