Franklin County posted their closest victory since January 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lawrence County Wildcats 42-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-47 back in January.

Franklin County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-12.
