Baseball Game Preview: Maplesville Red Devils vs. Prattville Christian Academy Panthers

Maplesville is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to Holtville.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Blake Bowman, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Tyson Houston, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Prattville Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Maplesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
