Volleyball Recap: Averi Costa and Zoe Jackson Secure Win for Truckee + How To Watch

Truckee won the last time they faced Wooster and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Colts. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Truckee was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-5, 25-8.

Leading Truckee to victory were Zoe Jackson and Averi Costa. Jackson had nine digs and two assists, while Costa had six aces. Those six aces gave Costa a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Truckee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matchups.

Truckee's record now sits at 17-6. As for Wooster, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Truckee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Debbie Smith CTE Academy on the 10th. As for Wooster, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Sparks on the 17th.
