Volleyball Recap: Joshlyn Medina Key Part of Team Effort in Wildcats Win + How To Watch

Questa won the last time they faced Monte Del Sol Charter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dragons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Questa was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-9.

Questa's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshlyn Medina, who had nine digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Medina a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Melinda Rael, who had nine aces and four assists.

They weren't the only good server: Questa was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Questa's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Monte Del Sol Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Questa will venture away from home to face off against Coronado at 5:00 p.m. on October 1. As for Monte Del Sol Charter, they will welcome Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
