Volleyball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

The Polytechnic Panthers came up short against the Crescenta Valley Falcons on Friday, falling 3-0.

Polytechnic took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-22.

Polytechnic's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Crescenta Valley, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytechnic will face off against Upland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crescenta Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palisades at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
