Tishomingo County falls despite strong effort from Ayden Mcdeavitt

The Tishomingo County Braves were the 82-72 winner over the Hardin County Tigers when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Tishomingo County fell just short of Hardin County by a score of 46-44.

When it comes to explaining why Tishomingo County lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Ayden Mcdeavitt. Despite the final result, he scored 30 points. The contest was Mcdeavitt's seventh in a row with at least ten points.

Tishomingo County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Hardin County, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tishomingo County will be home for the holidays to greet Corinth at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Corinth presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tishomingo County in Mississippi (Corinth is ranked 96th, while Tishomingo County is ranked 247th). Hardin County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Adamsville at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Adamsville is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
