Basketball Recap: Kyle Harvin Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Indian Creek proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 29) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 70-67 win over the Archbishop Curley Friars. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Friars back in January, they had to take a 49-46 defeat.

Indian Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyle Harvin, who posted 16 points. Harvin's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Bryce Teagle was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Archbishop Curley, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will welcome Annapolis Area Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Annapolis Area Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Indian Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archbishop Curley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against St. Mary's at 5:30 p.m.
