Baseball Recap: Beachwood Finds Home Field Redemption Against Bristol

There's no place like home for Beachwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bristol Panthers on Saturday, sneaking past 6-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Tristan Brown, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Beachwood is undefeated when Brown posts two or more runs, but 3-13 otherwise. Henry Strean was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Beachwood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-13. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bristol, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
