Volleyball Recap: Geraldine Triumphs

Geraldine lost to Danville on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0.

Lana Rowell paced Geraldine's offense, picking up six kills. Rowell got some help from Kennedy Mayfield and her 16 assists. Bracelyn Fisher controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Geraldine back to even at 3-3. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Geraldine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hartselle on the 23rd. As for Danville, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Addison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
