Recap: North Lincoln Knights vs. North Iredell Raiders
The North Lincoln Knights were the 56-33 winner over the North Iredell Raiders when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. North Lincoln took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Iredell.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hailey Hagler, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Ashlyn Black was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
North Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for North Iredell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
North Lincoln will head out on the road to challenge St. Stephens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in North Carolina (St. Stephens is ranked 189th, while North Lincoln is ranked 168th). As for North Iredell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Iredell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
