Baseball Recap: 16 Straight Home Wins for Walnut Ridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walnut Ridge). They were the clear victor by a 19-4 margin over the Piggott Mohawks on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Mohawks: they've now won six in a row.

JAGGER BROGDON was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. BROGDON was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, RILEY RICHEY was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was TREVOR AUGUSTINE, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2.
