Baseball Game Preview: Barbers Hill Eagles vs. Lee Ganders

Barbers Hill has gone a perfect 8-0 against Lee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Barbers Hill Eagles will square off against the Lee Ganders at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Barbers Hill has five straight wins, Lee has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Barbers Hill's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over Lee. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ayden Mooring looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

On the hitting side, Landon Davis was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Roque Garcia, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Barbers Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive games.

Barbers Hill's record now sits at 17-3. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
