Basketball Recap: Research Triangle Academy Takes a Loss

On Monday, Research Triangle Academy didn't have quite enough to beat the River Mill Jaguars and fell 35-33.

River Mill's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.

Research Triangle Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for River Mill, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-11 loss against Oxford Prep on the 10th.
