After a string of eight wins, Galatia's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-56 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Galatia still got an impressive performance from Connor Ammon, who went 9 of 19 en route to 23 points. That's the most points Ammon has posted since back in November of 2024. Will Puckett was another key player, putting up four points and six steals.

Galatia's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Galatia beat Norris City-Omaha-Enfield by a score of 66-49 on Tuesday.
