Softball Game Preview: Waynesboro Indians vs. Northern York Polar Bears

The Waynesboro Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Northern York Polar Bears at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Waynesboro has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Big Spring hit Waynesboro with a 13-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-7. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Northern York scored first but ultimately less than Boiling Springs in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of the Bubblers by a score of 4-3.

Northern York's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3. As for Waynesboro, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Waynesboro might still be hurting after the 14-7 loss they got from Northern York in their previous matchup on April 2nd. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
