Baseball Recap: O'Gorman Takes a Loss

O'Gorman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Manhattan Indians.

O'Gorman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Cody, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Gavin Hammrich also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

O'Gorman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

O'Gorman will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stevens at 1:30 p.m. on April 25. As for Manhattan, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Topeka on Friday.
