Soccer Game Preview: Cascade vs. Mariner

The Cascade Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Mariner Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cascade's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Cascade didn't have quite enough to beat Jackson and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Cascade have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mariner). They walked away with a 3-1 win over Arlington on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Cascade has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-5 record this season. As for Mariner, their win bumped their record up to 3-7-4.
